NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF
PROPOSED ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Hernando County, Florida, will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, JUNE 28, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. or soon thereafter, in the Hernando County Courthouse, John Law Ayers County Commission Chambers, 20 North Main Street, Room 160, Brooksville, Florida, to consider the following:
AN ORDINANCE OF HERNANDO COUNTY, FLORIDA, MODIFYING THE LANGUAGE IN CHAPTER 7, ARTICLE II OF THE HERNANDO COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES TO PROHIBIT THE MOORING AND DOCKING OF COMMERCIAL VESSELS AT BOAT RAMPS BY ADDING SECTION 7-26; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THIS PROPOSED ORDINANCE may be inspected by the public in the Office of the Clerk of Circuit Court, Hernando County Courthouse, 20 North Main Street, Room 362, Brooksville, FL 34601, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., M-F, legal holidays excepted.
YOU HAVE A RIGHT to appear and be heard at this public hearing and/or to send any written objections to the Board of County Commissioners at 15470 Flight Path Drive, Brooksville, FL 34604.
YOU ARE FURTHER ADVISED that if any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board of County Commissioners with respect to the subject matter of the hearing, that person will need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceedings is made.
