Florida Department of Transportation Open House for the State Road (S.R.) 50 Design Project – Segments 2 and 3 from east of S.R. 35/U.S. 301
to east of County Road (C.R.) 478A, Hernando and Sumter Counties, Florida, Financial Project Identification (FIPID) Nos.: 435859-2 and 435859-3
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold an open house for the design of S.R. 50 from east of S.R. 35/U.S. 301 to east of C.R. 478A. The purpose of the proposed project is to increase capacity on S.R. 50 within the project limits, as well as improve safety along the corridor. This project is part of a greater effort addressing existing and future congestion and delays, improving safety and traffic flow, and allowing the S.R. 50 corridor to operate at an improved level of service for all users.
The open house will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at the Ridge Manor Community Center, 34240 Cortez Boulevard, Ridge Manor, FL 33523, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Interested persons may attend at any time during those hours to view a looping video presentation and project exhibits, speak with project team members, and provide input on the design.
