NOTICE OF PUBLIC REVIEW PERIOD FOR THE
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PLAN
HERNANDO/CITRUS METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION (MPO)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the forty-five day (45-day) public review period for the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Public Participation Plan (PPP) will begin on February 24, 2025. The draft Public Participation Plan may be viewed online at www.HernandoCitrusMPO.us on February 24, 2025, and will also be available in our office at the address below. The public is encouraged to review and provide comments.

The Public Participation Plan (PPP) will be scheduled for adoption by the MPO Board at a public meeting after the 45-day Public Review Period. Meeting agendas will be posted on the MPO website at www.HernandoCitrusMPO.us approximately one week prior to the scheduled meeting.

All hearings are open to the public. Any questions concerning this public hearing should be directed to Mr. Bob Esposito, MPO Executive Director, Hernando/Citrus MPO, 789 Providence Boulevard, Brooksville, Florida, 34601, telephone (352) 754-4082, or email [email protected] .

Any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board with regard to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, said person will need a record of the proceeding, and that, for such purpose, said person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, Section 286.0105 F.S.
