The City Council of the City of Brooksville will hold a Public Hearing in the Joseph E. Johnston, III, City Hall Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida. Second and Final Reading of Ordinance No. 983 will be held on August 19, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Joseph E. Johnston, III, City Hall Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida. The purpose of the meeting is to hear a petition to rezone certain property from Zoning District Classification PDP-MF (Planned Development Project-Multifamily) To PDP-R (Planned Development Project Residential). The Ordinance may be obtained in the City Clerk’s office at City Hall, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601, or by calling the City Clerk at 352-540-3816.

ORDINANCE NO. 983

AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE REZONING OF APPROXIMATELY 41.22 ACRES OF PROPERTY BEARING HERNANDO COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER’S KEY NUMBERS 359506 AND 1134454 LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE WISCON ROAD, EAST OF HORSE LAKE ROAD, SOUTH OF BARNETT ROAD AND APPROXIMATELY 650 FEET WEST OF U.S. HIGHWAY 41 (BROAD STREET) IN THE CITY OF BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1, FROM ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION PDP-MF (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PROJECT-MULTIFAMILY) TO PDP-R (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PROJECTRESIDENTIAL); AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
