NOTICE OF THE AUGUST 9, 2022 SPECIAL SCHOOL BOARD MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the School Board of Hernando County, Florida (hereinafter, the “Board”) will hold the following meeting on August 9, 2022, 9:00 A.M. in the Board Room, 919 N. Broad Street, Brooksville, FL 34601:
Special School Board Meeting for discussion and consideration of matters related to the half cent surtax ballot resolution, the HCSB v HCBOCC pending litigation, Florida Statute Chapter 164 conflict resolution and such action items as may be taken related thereto.
The purpose of this meeting is to conduct such business as may come before the Board.
A copy of the agenda for the meeting(s) may be obtained by writing to the Board at 919 North Broad Street, Brooksville, FL 34601, or by calling Kelly Pogue, Secretary to the School Board and General Counsel, at 352-797-7253. The agenda, updates, and related materials will be available on the Board’s website at https://hernandoschools.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx
All Board meetings, workshops, public hearings and special meetings are streamed live by HITV and aired on Spectrum Channel 642.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at any Board meeting or hearing, he/she will need a copy of the official record of the meeting. The official record of any Board meeting consists of the official minutes approved by the Board including any back-up materials or documents submitted to it and a transcript of the audio and/or visual recording of the meeting if any made and maintained by the Board. It is the responsibility of the party requesting a copy of audio/visual recording to have it transcribed for appellate purposes.
