Kenneth E. Ratts AKA Lightning was born in Tremont, Illinois on 5/5/36. He died at age 85 on March 24th, 2022. He had suffered a stroke on August 15th, 2021.
Kenny moved to Brooksville with his family Janet, Lee, Ricky, and Christy in 1963. Ricky preceded dad in 1972 also survived by Sheena and Nina.
He was a heavy equipment operator and had also retired from the city of Brooksville.
Details on the celebration of life service are to be announced.

They saw the need for a newspaper when the Hernando Today newspaper closed their doors in 2014. Rocco is from Hernando, he went to school from Moton Elementary through Hernando High. Growing up in Hernando enhances his ability to provide background to ongoing issues. The Hernando Sun Printed their first issue in March 2015. They published monthly for a year before increasing to a weekly printing. The newspaper is delivered through the US mail, so it arrives with your mail.
