Thomas M. DeLeon passed away on Friday, March 4th, 2022, in Spring Hill, FL surrounded by his family members after a long battle of cancer while under hospice care at HPHC Chapters Hospice Center. He was born on October 5, 1950 in Flushing, New York by his parents Aileen and George DeLeon – who are both deceased.
Tom aka Tommy Turtle was formally from Derry NH as a tractor truck driver at Coca-Cola for 30+ years before retiring to Spring Hill in August 2019 with his family.
Tom is survived by his wife Lisa DeLeon, his brother Tim and wife Linda DeLeon, and his three children Cliff DeLeon and partner Shannon Skinner, son Brian DeLeon and daughter Kim and husband John Medina. He left behind many grandchildren who he loved and adored – Melissa and her husband Mike Coe, Kaleb DeLeon, Alexis & Katrina DeLeon, Joshua, Joseph and Jordan Medina; 10-month-old granddaughter Cassie (deceased) and Hayden Skinner. He is also survived by his faithful companion (Dog) Chippy.
He was a very kind and gentle soul who will always be remembered, loved and missed.
At Thomas’s request there will be no services. The family will remember him in a memorial mass with dates at a later time.
