A makerspace is a do it yourself (DIY) place for people to create, learn and invent independently or collaboratively. The popularity of makerspaces have been on the rise for several years. How did these ladies get the chance to be a part of Weeki Wachee’s greatest show? A common thread of the mermaids' various stories is that they each had wanted to be a mermaid since girlhood.

Fluent in Frequencies

July 04, 2015 - 13:32

Amateur radio is a worldwide group of people who communicate with each other over a wide frequency spectrum using many different types of wireless transmitting modes. Some people may think amateur radio is a person talking through a mic at a radio station but actually it’s more than that, way more than that. It’s not like pushing a button and saying “Hi Mom!” over the air. There are complicated systems, technical terminology as well as getting licensed by the F.C.C.
