Relying on public key encryption for business

Many years ago, we lived and worked in the same town. Everyone knew you and business was conducted because of your reputation. As time went by, people were able to do business across longer distances and, today, we conduct business with people from all around the world.

We don’t personally know the people we are working with and they do not know us. We rely on public key encryption to verify from whom we are receiving information and to whom we are sending information.

On Jan. 21st, before the skies darkened and winds picked up, the 37th Annual Brooksville Raid Re-enactment took place. The re-enactment was supposed to continue on Sunday, but was unfortunately cancelled due to inclement weather. To coincide with this Civil War Battle re-enactment, one of the largest in the country, this article describes the primary conflicts that occurred in Hernando County.

Sheriff Nienhuis objects to county’s sanctuary status

According to the Center for Immigration Studies, Hernando is one of the 7 out of 67 counties in Florida that are sanctuary counties. The Center for Immigration Studies defines a sanctuary county as one that refuses requests from the federal government to detain individuals for possible deportation from the country. There are other jurisdictions that go even further and will not even allow the Federal government into their jails or support them in any way.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is opening in just a few weeks. Barring any delays, the restaurant will open at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16 and normal hours of operation will be 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days per week. They are located at Coastal Way Plaza at 13208 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, FL 34601

Surviving Computer Failure

It is good to plan for computer failure. It will happen eventually and probably at the worst possible time. The first thing that you need to do is determine what you use your computer for and what information on it you need.

If the registrar is Eastern European, Asian, or from an unknown country you may want to find a different source of what you are looking for. You should also be wary of emails coming from these domain registrars.

A couple of years ago, Laurel Nowell a high school friend of Tammy Jo Alexander decided to look her up and see how she was doing. She could not find information on her friend and finally called the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office to report her as missing on August 14th, 2014. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Nowell said Alexander, who attended Hernando High School, went missing sometime between 1977 and 1979.
