20 Veterans inducted into the Florida Veterans’ Hall of Fame

Twenty veterans across the state of Florida were inducted into the Florida Veterans’ Hall of Fame on Monday Nov. 27, 2017. Governor Scott and First Lady Ann Scott were there to honor the inductees, along with members of the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs. A position in the Florida Veterans’ Hall of Fame is a testament to the veteran’s significant contributions to Florida through civic organizations, in business or public service.

THE CAPITAL, TALLAHASSEE, June 23, 2017......... More than seven months after Floridians overwhelmingly backed the broad legalization of medical marijuana, Gov. Rick Scott on Friday signed a bill aimed at carrying out the voters' wishes.

Lawmakers passed the bill (SB 8-A) during a special session this month after struggling to reach agreement on an implementation plan for the medical-marijuana constitutional amendment, which 71 percent of voters approved in November.

On Wednesday September 21st at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida the stage was set for the 2nd annual Women of RED Invasion. The RED program is designed for women to learn what happens behind the scenes of the Buccaneers, from drafting to play by play action as well as opportunities to meet former and currently signed players.
